The Wodonga Chamber of Commerce aims to get more people, particularly residents and local businesses in the City of Wodonga, to spend their dollars locally by promoting Wodonga Chamber of Commerce Member businesses.

The Wodonga Chamber of Commerce Buy Local campaign has raised awareness in the local and surrounding communities that the City of Wodonga has a broad range of businesses providing quality goods and services and that supporting these businesses is good for the local economy and community.

The objectives of the buy local campaign can be summarised as follows:

· To develop awareness in the local and surrounding communities as to the goods and
   services available in Wodonga
· To generate referrals and opportunities for Member businesses
· To establish buy-in and support from major local organisations (e.g. City of Wodonga,
   North East Water, etc)
· To change buying Local habits
· To promote Members of the Wodonga Chamber of Commerce to the residents and
    businesses in Wodonga and surrounds
· To develop a Member to Member programs to undertake trade and commerce with each
   other.
· To promote the Shop Wodonga Web Site.
