Combined Chamber and Granya House Breakfast Seminar 18th Feb 08

Duncan Armstrong, guest speaker.

The Combined Chambers and Granya House hosted a business breakfast with a difference on Monday 18th February 2008.

The difference was the special guest speaker, Olympic and World Champion Swimmer- Duncan Armstrong!

Duncan's appealing personality and speaking style ensured the information he provided was very well received. The coaching and swimming stories he told were highly entertaining and the audience were left wanting more.

Granya House speakers provided an insight into their organisation and the work they carry out rehabilitating men with alcohol and drug abuse problems.  Granya House continues to be funded by the community, with the majority raised by their annual Fun Run.  A major sponsor and a number of supporting sponsors are being sought for this years Fun Run which will feature Duncan Armstrong as a celebrity competitor.  Granya House would love to speak to any companies interested in supporting this worthy cause.
